Janjagre, (yan-YAW-gur) home of the Jan people (Janjagre means “Land of the Jan”) is a fractious land of multiple petty kingdoms. They are united in self-defense, these days mostly from Nuvonia. Their stances are diverse, however, and some Jan Clans respect Nuvonian strength and trade regularly with them.

Most Jan Clans are Human, but local Kin become are treated with respect. There are exceptions, of course, but generally a Kin living in a Jan community is treated with respect, and even defended when necessary. Jan have a strong sense of honor.
